Celebrating Anti-Racism, Recognizing Volunteers and Welcoming best selling Author Shereen Daniels!

In conjunction with a visit to Minneapolis by Shereen Daniels, author of the "The Anti-Racist Organization," ARCC founder Donzel Leggett hosted a dinner for Shereen and our nonprofit's board members and volunteers. Held at Cobble Social House, owned by Black restaurateur Joe Clark, the event was attended by ARCC members from Florida, Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota.

The event was also an opportunity to recognize our wonderful volunteers and celebrate the tremendous progress and impact we have made as a coalition over a very short period of time of existence. As a gift and reminder of what ARCC coalition members are all about, each attendee received a quarter zip pull-over with the ARCC Logo on the front, and on the back our new action statement - Act with couRage to Create Change.

This was our very first in-person event ever, as a group (ARCC was founded in 2020, during the pandemic) and provided our members an opportunity to meet each other face to face for the first time, and to also have the opportunity to meet, engage, share ideas and listen to Shereen's perspective. Having the intimate opportunity to engage with Shereen was not only an added treat, but also an extremely enlightening and inspiring experience for all attendees. In fact, we actually gained four new coalition members and volunteers during the event because they were so moved, energized an inspired!!!

We'd love to see YOU at our next event!
