Why I joined ARCC?

I was drawn to join ARCC because I am passionate about anti-racism and re-imagining a world without prisons or policing. As a cisgender white person, I believe practicing anti-racism is a life-long commitment, which has the capacity to transform my life, relationships with others and break down systems of oppression, racism and power. I am always looking for ways in which I can be a better ally and co-conspirator to BIPOC communities to create a safer, more equitable and beautiful world for all.
