Reproductive Rights and Racial Disparities

Amanda Gorman is the first National Youth Poet Laureate of the United States. She read her poem “The Hill We Climb” at Joe Biden’s presidential inauguration, making her the youngest poet to speak at a presidential inauguration. Gorman has used her art to take a stand against abortion bans. In her poem “8 REASONS to stand up today against abortion bans in the United States”.
